Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Your consent to receive SMS marketing is not required to make a purchase and is separate from any consent to receive marketing emails. You can opt out of SMS marketing at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us, or by contacting us at info@socks.com.au.

Disclosure to third parties

We share personal information with service providers who help us operate our website, process payments and deliver products, under obligations of confidentiality. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and enforce our policies.

Who we share with, and why

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) - using the Meta Pixel, the Conversions API and Advanced Matching, to measure our advertising, build audiences and show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.
  • TikTok - using the TikTok Pixel, the Events API, Advanced Matching and TikTok's in-app checkout, for the same purposes on TikTok.
  • Google - using Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Merchant Center, to measure website and advertising performance and to show you relevant ads across Google services.
  • Klaviyo - our email and SMS marketing platform, as described above.
  • Judge.me - to collect and display product reviews.
  • Searchanise - to power search and product recommendations on our website.

What we share

Depending on the partner and how you use our website, this can include your name, email address, phone number, location, the pages and products you view, items you add to your cart, searches you run, and purchases you make, together with technical details such as your IP address, device and browser.

Where we share contact details such as your email address or phone number with Meta, TikTok or Google, that information is converted into a scrambled form (a one-way hash) before it is sent. It is used to match you to an existing account on those platforms so that advertising can be measured and targeted, and it is not used by us to identify you from their records.

Server-side sharing

Some of this information is sent directly from our servers to these partners rather than from your browser, using technologies such as Meta's Conversions API and TikTok's Events API. This means browser settings, private browsing and ad blockers may not prevent it. The choices set out below still apply.

Your choices

These partners are located outside Australia, including in the United States, so your personal information may be disclosed overseas. Each partner handles your information under its own privacy policy, which we recommend you read.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
